How would this hurt the homeless? Did you read the article? Nothing is being taken away but instead trying to find a balance to address serious problems caused by the homeless and drug addicts while managing an important program and protecting the non-homeless and non-drug addicts.

Mind you, this was the march after the speakers - I stood at that same vantage point on the Morrison Bridge for 15 minutes today and it looked exactly like that the entire time; the crowd today in Portland was enormous, engaged, and not fucking around.
