The Magna Carta was written to limit the power of the King, establishing that even the monarch must abide by the law and not arbitrarily exercise absolute power, essentially a response to dissatisfaction with the king's tyranny and abuse of authority.

Things I learned from TV: 1) I learned the proper way to brush my teeth -courtesy of BJ Hunnicutt on M.A.S.H.; 2) impressed my friend when I told my her to wipe with the wood grain when she dusts - Pledge commercial.
