Pop culture’s my mud. I roll around in it.
Like many in the center left, the allergy to nuance and compromise during election drove me nuts. None of us are relishing these “I told you so”s, but the radical left underestimated Trump’s dedication to destroying what was still good about the USA.

If the Siri that has been maligning my dictated notes with increasing frequency has been allegedly eavesdropping on me for 10 years, either #Apple has lost the plot, or AGI has been achieved and Siri is a petty bitch.

Have you ever seen Zachary Quinto and Eli Roth in the same room at the same time? Me either.

I would be all in on Bill Burr as Mr. Fantastic if Jim Norton was the Thing.

So I finally gave Roger Waters’ DARK SIDE redux a listen. He’s been getting a lot of internet dunking, & while I blame him squarely for ending Pink Floyd’s best output, this album isn’t “Taylor’s Version.” Best Way to describe it is “imagine if Leonard Cohen covered Dark Side.“ I quite dig it.

@neilhimself.neilgaiman.com As an enormous fan of not only your work but the candor with which you share the process, I have one burning question: Did creating SANDMAN have any effect on what or how you dream?

I've been a fan of Neil Gaiman's work since the late 80s. After seeing him interact with fans on Bluesky, I've become a huge fan of @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com . Here's a bio piece from another old fan. I met Neil thru comics, she met him in a Tori Amos song. www.pastemagazine.com/books/fictio...
The Heartfelt Truth of Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman's fiction is more popular --- and more necessary, perhaps --- than it's ever been before.

Red Rockers brought some punk fire tonight… even for their pop hit “CHINA.”

Jack needs to create an icon for BlueSky. Right now the present app button looks too ASMR adjacent.

… Because if there’s one thing we really want from AI, it’s glib sarcasm and “facts” by Elon Musk’s metric.

I saw MEN I TRUST last night. Great sounding band. The crowd loved them. The guitarist is phenomenal and looks like he’s related to Mr Beast. They had the stage energy of room temperature oatmeal, but I am going to write that off to post pandemic rust.
