and because i've seen this floating around, this needs to be cleared up:
the reason Ferrari stopped focusing on 2025 so early on is because they fucked up the car this year. full stop. a marginal error on the rear suspension design led to major issues that would not be rectified without a B spec.

Newey as Aston Martin TP is one of the funniest F1 news in ages. I'm 100% sure it's gonna go badly eventually. Idk if he'll manage to win anything before it but it'll go wrong. He is clearly power hungry and Aston Martin is just giving him everything he wants. It has disaster written all over it

so there were rumors circulating at the time of Newey leaving Red Bull that he wanted power and Ferrari didn’t like that, hence no hiring him. seemingly, Aston was the only one willing to give him that.

[tinfoil hat] perhaps when Horner allegations first happened, Adrian Newey thought Horner would get fired and Newey would take his place. Horner obviously stayed and locked himself in place, and Newey ragequit and used the allegations as a cover to make himself look extra squeaky clean to the media.

I think I'm pretty objective when it comes to DWTS and dances from celebs I don't like but at the end of the day DWTS will never just be about dancing for me because between Alix and Robert I think I enjoyed more Alix dances but am I happier with Robert winning because of their personalities? Yes

Putting Max within DNF reach of the title is crazy enough but it gets even more crazy when Mclaren is making mistakes like today and when Lando is starting races like that. That DNF looks possible and maybe for the first time ever Mclaren needs to think about what enabling their golden boy might do

Also yes you can say Oscar has had a drop in form but at this point it's looking increasingly likely Max will be able to finish ahead of him in the standings and I don't know how Mclaren's hands can be washed from that
This has not made Max the frontrunner but Mclaren has managed to make his 5th feel possible once again. They have the best car but they are not the best team no matter how this championship ends. With a car like that being in this position is beyond. Just beyond

Not the result Maya deserved and the way she fought in this race absolutely proves it. It's not fair she won't ever be a F1 Academy champion but she's above F4 and I hope she gets the opportunity the talent she has make her deserving of. It was a joy to watch her these past 2 years
