Angus Taylor has committed the Coalition to Taiwan's security, and pledged the AUKUS submarines to that task. It's another spectacular example of his poor judgment.

A simple analysis of the ‘TheyVoteForYou’ website shows that 40% of the positions in Dutton’s Shadow ministry are held by people who have either voted to cut the ABCs funding, to privatise the ABC, or both.
Not including Dutton himself.
Doesn’t bode well for Aunty if they win!

So our most regarded defence expert, Hugh White, says “The sooner we cut our losses and get out of AUKUS the better.”
He says when Trump offers an opportunity to that, as he surely will, having no interest in Asia/Pacific, we should jump at it.

Trump now trying to bully Australia, over what? Trying to control America’s tech giants? Providing about 1% of the USA’s aluminium needs?
Currently the US sells more to Australia than we sell to them.
So the answer to Trump when he stands over us should be, “fine, we’ll cut our US imports by half.”
