The Switch itself is pretty great IMO, and so after 7 years we just need a hardware refresh. The successor will succeed (heh) with that.

It’s like a game of chicken; Sony won’t allow gamepass on PS until MS backs out of hardware. MS won’t back out until that happens. Phil’s lost his edge and can’t broker such a deal imo

This is an unpopular opinion, but I’m beginning to prefer physical games over digital should either be cheaper. Game pass is anti-this preference. At first I thought the service was great, but now…. I dunno. It’s just 👎

It comes down to the games, honestly. The 1st party lineup isn’t attractive to me, despite the stable of franchises MS own. Looking at game pass is paralysing and devalues the games…. If it was a bit more curated, then maybe it’d be better/sustainable.
