Agreed. If only we had legislators willing to work on rational legislation. Those days seem to be over.

Team players are great. They'll murder whoever you want murdered.

The entire Trump cabinet has shit for brains.
December 4, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Absolutely right. This is just lawless murderous piracy.
December 4, 2025 at 5:11 PM
It's not just the second tap. The whole murder boat campaign is clearly illegal. There is no war. There is no 'narco-terrorism'.
December 4, 2025 at 4:34 PM
If "yes", they were combatants who should have been rescued.
If "no", then they were just civilians who were murdered.

It's very bad either way.

"Admiral Bradley, Are we at war?"
December 4, 2025 at 4:03 PM
The whole boat bombing campaign is a crime against humanity.
It can't be a war crime because THERE IS NO WAR.
It's just MURDER.

They literally tore those letters off a plaque inside the building. Vandals.
December 4, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Somehow this is supposed to justify their MURDER campaign??
December 4, 2025 at 3:56 PM
These idiots are still trying to justify their MURDER campaign. They are embarrassing the country and themselves:

I don't think this is something a president should be adjudicating. This should be handled by sensible impartial review within the DoJ (if we actually had one anymore).

And again...please Guardian show an ounce of healthy skepticism towards this AI bullshit. It's so tiring to see these fawning articles based on nonsense....

I don't disagree that the outcome here was a good thing. But it shouldn't take PRESIDENTIAL pardons - essentially at the whim of one man - to overturn or amend overly harsh sentences. There should be judicial processes in place to review such cases. The presidential pardon is an anachronism.
December 4, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Agreed. But that has little to do with presidential pardons or pardons in general. It's the legal system as a whole that needs reform, not post hoc, corruption-prone bandaids.
