Work In progress! I actually made this before in charcoal but I wanted to recreate it with references this time. It’s half of a diptych where the other half is the baby bird reborn in a new form. It’s about being trans and watching your parents mourn the child they never had.

I painted my wallet a while back. It’s been holding up pretty well!
