It is, ironically, a very timely game. Despite taking place so many decades after its actual setting. It's such a deliberate choice, and it asks the audience to analyze it. BUT NO I GUESS SOME ARE JUST TOO BUSY DECLARING IT'S NOT A *REAL* SILENT HILL GAME I GUESS???

Being upset about a piece of fiction being mostly metaphorical, eventually revealing itself to have been playing out inside the mind of its protagonist, is so silly to me. Like... why is that *inherently* bad? Meet the art where it fucking is, jesus christ!!

I should've become a music video director because so often I'll listen to a song and my brain has these oddly specific thoughts like "this line makes me think of someone turning a corner" or "this is giving slow motion vibes".
