Designing Belle's festive outfit reminded me of the original idea for her dress that I eventually didn't go with. It was supposed to be a more shawl-like dress, but I changed my mind when I actually drew her dress for the first time!

Not sure if this is really interesting to anyone else or not but I was looking through my art and found the test drawing that eventually inspired my current artstyle. You can tell that it's old because I drew myself with longer hair 😌
