LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults) is a type of diabetes that’s kind of a mix between type 1 and type 2 (commonly referred to as Type 1.5).
It progresses slowly and is often mistaken for type 2, but it has its own unique autoimmune twist.
