So this is what I've been dealing with on the LIRR train this winter. So many entitled people on Long Island put their dirty feet on the seats. But I guess it's not that much of a surprise as the dumb monster that's the POTUS is still liked here.

Been feeling lousy this evening. Saw some haze in the streetlights, then looked at the AQI levels. Lots of #airpollution

This is what I deal with, no fresh air. This shouldn't even be considered a legal apt with my only windows facing an 8 foot wide "alley". Oh & the Laundry exhaust is going so it went up even more.

Long Island is so entrenched with MAGA. It's sickening. I don't feel welcome here anymore. This is where all the people on Wall St that have made $$ with Trump while we suffer live now. Long Island will go down like Atlantis one day.

This is a major reason why I don't want to wind up living in Ocean County, NJ. Their local bus network sucks, and now it's going to even worse. WTF is with cutting transit when we should be expanding it. Ocean County, SHAME ON YOU! 😡

Can't even enjoy the cool air where I live. Still nearly 80 outside my window after 10pm while everywhere else is in the low 70s. Hades Castle Apts in the Furnace Heights neighborhood of Mineola. A/C won't rest until Oct...man I gotta get out of this place if it's the last thing I ever do 🥵

They say you can open your windows tonight on Long Island with temps dropping through the 60s and into the 50s. But not here, not in my apartment that faces a brick wall. a/c stays on. How is it even legal to force a person to live in a place that doesn't get fresh air? 10° hotter out my window

More discrimination, courtesy of the MTA LIRR. When escalators needed work at Bellmore & Rockville Centre, they were fixed promptly. But in Freeport which is a lower income, less white area, it sits like this for a month. #racism #discrimination

This is what I deal with in my neighborhood at night. Men just sitting around in front of vacant buildings. And in front of occupied ones too, there was a guy on the steps where I live too. I need to move outta here so bad, but the snobs won't let me into their happy place.

This is what really sucks about where I live. It stays hot at night because all my windows face a brick wall alley. 88 degrees at 1am. And my a/c's are struggling to keep it much below 78 in my apt.

NJ Transit is doing badly. Keep in mind as of 2024 the MDBF at NICE Bus was 11.000 miles, at NJ Transit, it has dropped to below 8,000 most of the times. This despite NJ Transit having a bunch of new MCI's. I haven't gone in months since I'm a little worried about breaking down in the Pine Barrens.
