This is so true! Schorschi, my late Shih-Tzu was 14 when he dies due to a coronary disease. Bur luckily I still have another rescue Pekingese-mix from Hungary, and he is so sweet trying to help processing the loss of his friend and my „Shi-waq“ (that’s one of my nick names for Schorschi) 🥰

21 july 2017, during my thruhike of the PCT, doing the Crater Rim Trail alternative — just breathtakingly beautiful!
I shot about 100 photos while up there and took my time before hiking on. This was so worth it ❤️ Only shortly after a huge wildfire started and hikers had to bypass.
