Totally agree that funko should get some heat for going with tools that lack human input. For all the armchair lawyers saying stuff like " i smell a lawsuit". There is tons of ways this can be settled that are more likely. Lawsuits on that level are expensive af and we shouldn't fuel the fire in that way. Itch should come back in the most sustainable way possible for them.

There really is not "the Problem" to point at. Funko is at fault for going with automated processes that can potentially harm others and The registrar is at fault for just complying without checking if the claim is based in reality.

If you actually read up on it it will tell you that it's contested by many other philosophical concepts and worldviews because this "paradox" is highly contextual to the constantly changing morals of society. If you look at moral concepts of for example Taoism, it stops being a paradox.
