I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom almost 2 years ago now and it was and is still difficult.

I've always been a big fan of her. She's one of the funniest people. I Especially love that she's a fellow Canadian. My heart goes out to her family. And her fans. She put good out into the world.

I'm someone who has never had an interest in getting married or having kids. I used to get hassled by my extended family about it. Never my parents though. They seemed to respect my feelings about it.

I started doing a thing where I don't pay attention to the promotional material of movies and shows that I want to see. I want to go in knowing as little as possible.
It has Star Trek in the name so of course I'll watch the show. And I did. It was awesome.

I keep thinking back to an 80's Justice League comic book where they all thought Batman might have killed Green Lantern Guy Gardner with a single punch but they would all follow up with "we'd never get that lucky". So I keep saying that to myself while at the same time hoping we do get lucky.

The new ones are nice but I'm still more than happy with the old ones. I like that the older ones are more MP scale.
