If the party attacked or stole from Evil Gangle, she would have appeared at the end, banished Caine, and replaced him as final boss.

She was an Archmage, with easily the highest Challenge Rating of any enemy in the dungeon at 12 compared to Caine's 8. Here's her boss render:

The gravestones in the starting room were all named after characters from D&D games I've either hosted or played in.

And the cow room was based off an incident in the first ever D&D game I was in that played almost to the letter. I'm so sorry, Gangle.

The Fudge was a modified Hoard Mimic that would have been able to split into smaller Fudges, impersonated the Golden Gabudbwutzit, but I scrapped him for time.

If a player stepped on the pressure plates in the cow room, they would have been transformed into a hamter.

Some tokens that ended up unused!

The Angel would have sent anyone who attacked it to Hell, risking their possession. It was a modified Deva.

The Violent Psychopath Butcher, Cylinder Head, was literally just a custom Pyramid Head NPC.

Caine's final boss form was a modified Eye Tyrant, a weaker variant of a Beholder. I lowered his Wisdom (because Caine's nooooot exactly wise), AC, and HP.

The cast got SUPER lucky, because Caine had some nasty attacks and he only ever used his *worst* three eye beams.

I chose everyone's stats manually, based off how I think they present in the Circus, albeit with a few liberties (i.e Gangle's socially awkward, but has high Charisma due to her artistic talent and managerial skills; Zooble has low Charisma due to their standoffish attitude).
