From my early days covering girls’ and women’s sports... high school games, D1 championships, Wisconsin women’s hockey, and sidelining for the Seattle Storm.. women’s sports shaped my career. It’s a pinch-me moment to get to cover women’s hockey at the highest level. 🩵

And another special moment tonight in Toronto... Shane Wright scored the first goal of the game, in his 100th career NHL game, in the building he grew up watching the NHL in, with his parents in the house.
