Morticia, aka The Snuggle Muffin, would like to protest that she is in fact the best snuggler!

We have a pharmacy relatively near us that does drive thru prescriptions - I love it late at night when I’m poorly and standing waiting is the last thing I want to do.
We’ve used it several times on the way back from minor injuries and it’s genius

I don’t even know half this stuff even if I wanted to visit that place (which, to be clear, I really really don’t)

I imagine plenty of tourism will still happen where families book their ‘dream’ holiday without realising this is required and feel trapped into it but what self-sabotage!

This was a great interview!

A refreshing honesty & vulnerability about it.

It was poor taste and TERRIBLE! I turned the volume off.
Plus, there is only one Celine Dion and no other imitators will be tolerated

We’ll never know how well he would have bowled but even if Jimmy wasn’t firing, I fancy he would have helped the bowlers keep their heads just that bit better. He was sooo good at reading the conditions and leading when the ball wasn’t in his hand.

My husband and I purchased noise cancelling headphones because of a neighbour’s dog. There are times we’re both in the same room listening to our respective sanity-preservers and message each other to talk.

Personally I think he should be sincerely thanking you for warning him not to waste his time.
Wish someone had told me how disappointed I’d be that I wasted sleep on listening to that

I’ve basically given up on Formula E because ITVX is more trouble than it’s worth - impossible to find it!

They didn’t want you to miss out on the slow dying of the light

We survived the first over! 🥳

😱
If anyone needs me I’ll be busy eating my feelings with the day 3-5 snacks I got in for the first test 🫠

I don’t disagree that the criticism has been perhaps a little OTT. However, I think strike rate is the wrong metric for evaluating test batters. It’s more about run average or even simply how many overs you can face to build a partnership and an innings.

And yet whilst it’s simple and I really hope that’s how he does it, it still feels so perilous.

Hitting a bit of hard leather with a big stick for five days might be fun for the participants.
For the spectators, and specifically the fans of the 11 men representing England, it can be torturous.
December 5, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Agreed! Alex Hartley is a delight and she has a great dynamic with both of them.
Quite similar to the Tuffers and Aggers one

Also an excellent example of how to stay at the crease for a whole day - a disappearing art!
December 4, 2025 at 4:58 PM
I’m sure I’ll take this back if we lose but right now I’m so pleased for Root, I don’t care about the match result.
What a beautifully patient century!
December 4, 2025 at 4:33 PM
Same.
I really enjoy all the other regulars and I’m missing Finny & Cooky.
I know I’m not the first to say that Finny would make an excellent successor to Aggers.

I’m especially fond of Norcross with Alex Hartley alongside.
December 4, 2025 at 7:21 AM
It was nice whilst it lasted
December 4, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Not ashamed to say that made me weep.
It’s such an honour to be trusted by these balls of purring fur and a beautiful thing to love them.
Sending hugs as you navigate this difficult time.
