No, geez, pls don't say that. There is NO body shape that "makes a woman". A woman is an adult who says she is a woman, full stop.

The unveiling of a new day 📷🕊️ ….
Slowly the mist is rising along the trail but for now the distant mountains are resting.

Where I live, it's bears. Someone posts "heads up, bear on x st", and the rest of the comments are "duh, so what", "it's their home", or arguments against duh and home. Then they call each other names. Every single time.

Omg no, we have got to stop this stupid thing about a new delivery device making a cheap generic brand name only again

I forgot to say what seems most important-- we will always have dark triad folks. No matter what parents do. But we do not have to allow them to take power over us. That's where we are failing imo.

Right! So there's no reason it can't go the other direction. I blocked that other account. Just arguing without sources and then insulted me lol.

The plural of anecdote isn't data. But I know many people whose parents were terrible narcissists who abused them-- and they themselves are kind and compassionate. There's just a lot more to it than ppl realize.

This piece overstates it -- environmental influences do count-- but it's not mostly parents. We are just part of the mix.

I didn't say no effect. However after accounting for genetics, the parent effect is relatively small. My middle aged kids are good ppl but it's not bc of me. And I'm tired of seeing parents in my practice guilt themselves for everything, Tylenol etc www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/blue...
Parents Matter but They Don’t Make a Difference
Parents matter a lot in their children’s lives, but DNA is the major systematic force, the blueprint, that makes us who we are.

That's not true. Parent influence on adult character is present but not nearly as large as peer, non-parent adult, and cultural influences, per research. Parents can't take blame or credit for the end result, but should treat others kindly regardless of outcome.

Bc it's currently normal? Why would you ask that? The majority of Americans including the opposition to ICE -- overweight. Fat ≠ evil. ICE otoh is very evil.

It's almost like part of their strategy is to make dems argue accurately that they are doing the things the repugs accuse them of not doing.

Not even close. The pet eating lie would have been bad if true. The healthcare lie would have been good if true. They don't have it bc of Bill Clinton. It's nothing to be proud of y'all. It's shameful.

Wow. The enemies of my enemy are fat-shamers. And making fun of ppl with low IQ. This is so depressing. Fat≠evil-- trump= evil. I don't have much hope for us as a species sometimes, if we can't at a minimum not be so gleefully cruel to innocent bystanders.

This extremely perceptive. Wonderfully so.

A Harvard-educated law professor. A gun. A synagogue. Two days after Jews were murdered in Manchester, he stepped outside Temple Beth Zion and pulled the trigger. Not a zealot, not a hayseed - the educated elite. Read: substack.com/home/post/p-...
The Harvard Man With a Gun

Makes sense. I took career as the whole trajectory of life work but sure don't identify mine as corporate. Declined every "promotion" offered so I could keep my IWW card 😂. Not sure what replaces the directional aspect that's specific to work. Not same as calling. Work arc?

If he has a PCP please call them for advice. They may want to see a photo. I would 1000000x rather pts call us than get internet advice. You should never feel like it's too small of a question.

Somehow a staff alert got pressed in an empty exam room and now everybody is telling ghost stories

So... no role for biology 😂. And certainly no existential angst. In the Promised Land of perfect politics, we will not struggle over impermanence or mortality. 😂😂😂

I'm gonna go one further-- I can't say I love my country. A country is a concept and ours has been effed up from go. But my lack of patriotism shouldn't have any bearing on my human and civil rights. Or on my standing to work towards a country I could love.

😂 Ppl to me before menopause: "No way you're old enough to have kids"
Immediately afterwards: "So, are you still working?"

Agree w/your post but not the quoted post. The US govt has enslaved ppl, committed genocide, oppressed women, etc, and white men have been fine. That's what MAGATS are counting on.
And ppl who have to be personally at risk to care about others scare me.
