Recently, they criticised the 45th & 47th president of the USA, and the boss of X aka Twitter, Tesla, SpaceX and DOGE at one of their concerts. This led to the band's X account being suspended. Social media like Twitter aka X are full of posts denying the mass murder of six million Jews and many others by the Hitler regime. Apparently, some Big Tech billionaires consider such denial 'free speech' not leading to suspension. But the Dropkick Murphys criticising billionaires apparently IS a cause for suspension. Last night I was out at a gig. A great band ‘Personality Crisis’ featuring my friend Paul Raggity (Paul Raggity Art on FB) with a mix of covers and original songs. A good time was had by all.

He is wearing a black shirt with white polka dots and a St Pauli skull and crossbones baseball cap. The drumstick in shot is blurred as it’s moving so fast. This is Dexter when he was, well he was always little. He was a Chug (Chihuahua/Pug cross) He was my pet-on-another-continent & I’ll miss him when we visit in April. He passed last month.

A slightly shorter walk yesterday out to the castle & back. The causeway didn’t open until 1pm so it was quiet on the Island.
Holy Island map showing our walk through the village and out to the castle and back again. Around 2.5 miles. Lindisfarne castle on its hill, looking westwards towards it from the coastal path. The winding fence leads your eye to the base of the hill. The pebbles beach to your right and the pathway to your left. Crass coveted sand dune basking in the spring sunshine, whilst the sunlight shimmers on a calm North Sea. There are some relics of an old jetty sticking out of the water and the English mainland in the distance. 4 fishing boats anchor in the bay, whilst behind them in the haze is the navigation aid to assist sailors to miss the sand banks.
