On the Remastered Splinter having Ball Jointed ankles and the turtles not...that's a great big mystery. If they had completely copied the MOTU Origins articulation to begin with, I think these would have been best selling figures. Now playmates won't even have the license after this year.

I saw that Megablocks Technodrome in a used bookstore last year and the box for it was absolutely massive, so I'm sure the logistics for that would be pretty costly coming from anywhere!

Great set! If you can be content with the 4 individual turtles released first with the bumpy skin, and don't feel like you're missing out much on Splinter and Shredder, then it's a smart move.

I found them Friday and got Leo, Donnie and the foot soldier. He ended up being about half off because of the discount that was running. These are better figures than they'll get credit for being.
