Turned 40 just in time to realize I'll never be allowed to retire.
I think a lot of them transitioned from 24/7 TV to 24/7 online seamlessly but you can only yell at the TV not into the internet void...

Do they have a step by step process in mind or just every big news event is an opportunity to tilt at a windmill?

I have had a strong desire to make a trek to crowberry bog for a couple of years, this year it needs to happen

None of these small men come from a lineage of people who did anything important and would justifiably look down on the people who do. The "western" world was built on exploitation of domestic and foreign people to the benefit of a minority of people like Charles III and his vienna sausage fingers

What exactly are our interests? Stopping imaginary drugs and drilling someone else's oil even though we are already the largest producer on the planet...?

I can't believe how many times these clowns are given a free platform to verbally shitpost

I don't understand what I am looking at here. I once drunkenly knocked a space heater into a French door and broken glass made its way into spots I didn't discover for six years. What kind of glass could break like you were smashing a hole in pottery?

Invade, murder, steal resources. Run away leaving antiquated infrastructure behind when profits dip. Force markets back open so you can flood them with garbage and use their population instead of modernizing domestic infrastructure. Blame lack of attention to domestic economy/population on them.

It strikes me as likely that the perception that Democrats are losing is entirely coming from them having a healthier relationship with technology than I do...

Its almost like a lot of that red area is really difficult to live in and we already either gave it to tribes with a huge middle finger or chose not to settle it because it would be super difficult and those new communities wouldn't be sustainable...

This kind of thing reminds me of reading Orson Scott Card's Homecoming series. I could tell he was squirreling something away that I didn't want within the sci fi story I wanted. Miller is wrapping his disgusting nonsense in the western exceptionalism message his followers need to feel good.

So we can bomb innocent people in another country and steal their citizens because *checks notes* an American judge said they are bad? I guess sovereignty means nothing anymore and we all need to get real good at dodging polonium pellets.

The dumbest among us have been shockingly capable of ignoring reality so they can imagine the thing they want most dearly given to them by a bronze masked conman

Are you going to favor the team that will hold you accountable or the team that will let you get away with everything? Some percentage of the population is just out to grab whatever it can, they exist in every industry and can never be satiated.

Its amazing how easy this shit is to just find an answer to. Greenland's resources are more difficult to get to than already exploited resources. What we are actually talking about here is using taxpayer dollars to make up the investment gap between the two.

This is why the world accepted a rules based order so readily, personal grievance and enrichment plus an ego with its own gravity leads to conflict. Someone at the NYT has to have at least read a Wikipedia article on the previous century, right?

I understand the frustration with big accounts quote skeeting over just replying but this is unhinged. Sometimes it feels like we have learned nothing at all about the internet and how it impacts people's real lives.

Giving Zuckface more users is against my moral compass. The world doesn't need his apps having more opportunity to make us all worse.

It was just an Arrest+ though not an invasion, how would we have any authority to decide for another nation when they decide to have elections?
