Invade, murder, steal resources. Run away leaving antiquated infrastructure behind when profits dip. Force markets back open so you can flood them with garbage and use their population instead of modernizing domestic infrastructure. Blame lack of attention to domestic economy/population on them.

Its almost like a lot of that red area is really difficult to live in and we already either gave it to tribes with a huge middle finger or chose not to settle it because it would be super difficult and those new communities wouldn't be sustainable...

This kind of thing reminds me of reading Orson Scott Card's Homecoming series. I could tell he was squirreling something away that I didn't want within the sci fi story I wanted. Miller is wrapping his disgusting nonsense in the western exceptionalism message his followers need to feel good.

Are you going to favor the team that will hold you accountable or the team that will let you get away with everything? Some percentage of the population is just out to grab whatever it can, they exist in every industry and can never be satiated.

Its amazing how easy this shit is to just find an answer to. Greenland's resources are more difficult to get to than already exploited resources. What we are actually talking about here is using taxpayer dollars to make up the investment gap between the two.

This is why the world accepted a rules based order so readily, personal grievance and enrichment plus an ego with its own gravity leads to conflict. Someone at the NYT has to have at least read a Wikipedia article on the previous century, right?

I understand the frustration with big accounts quote skeeting over just replying but this is unhinged. Sometimes it feels like we have learned nothing at all about the internet and how it impacts people's real lives.
