I haven't tried but it wouldn't surprise me. It's my topstitching machine because it's only got a straight stitch.

This is the Strad. I bought it for $7.50 when the Textile Center had an "buy all this stuff so we don't have to move it" garage sale before they moved into their new digs.

I inherited a bag of thread, about half of it silk on wooden spools, from my mother the hoarder. She didn't sew but refused to let me use any of it when I was a teen. So now I suppose I should see if any crafters would like the spools.

Looks like it. I just set up the Strad in its appointed place so all the machines are set up, and now I need to bite the bullet and actually sew something. But probably oil the Strad first.

He was a stray so we don't know for sure - he talks about his sparkle balls but not a lot otherwise. The Kugelprinzessin is more talkative - and grumpy. Because tortie.

We also have Amir, who may or may not be a Siamese mix - but certainly more contrasting fur.

We have a tortie - basically we have ensured that there will be contrasting cat fur no matter what we wear.

The Kugelprinzessin licks plastic. And also me, sometimes skin, sometimes my shirt, which leaves me with a huge wet spot on my shirt. I have to remind myself that if she were a dog there would be more slobber.
