Great write up! Making games is hard but not impossible. Folks get into it from various angles but this story of someone with a dream ending up releasing a game as wonderful as Echo should be inspiring to all wannabe game devs!

If you're like me and wanna make games, hopefully this was another little anecdote you can stick in your back pocket to convince yourself it's doable.

Spent maaaaany hours getting through a #godot tutorial on dialog and quest systems and then discovered Dialogic.

@play.date is a whole platform in itself with a fantastic community, 100s of original games, budding indie devs with fresh ideas and a lovely team at @panic.com. It's not cheap but it's been worth every penny for me!
