Sad to see it over but SO GLAD to have been along for the ride. Absolutely delightful to revisit one of my favorite shows through a new, more modern lens full of heart and action that keeps to the roots of the original appeal.

When my #boardgame group plays Spirit Island, we all pick our Spirits differently:
Husband: picks someone new each time
P: decides 10 he prefers
V: knows the whole stack from playing online and picks one almost randomly
Me: ALWAYS plays Ember-Eyed Behemoth.

I heavily disagree with that. Intrusive racist thoughts tend to have triggers. No POC, no triggers, no self-monitoring kicks in. White people in the US take for granted that they're surrounded by people who look like them all the time. It's also only been like 2 days and he's been busy.

There were a few very specific details I was looking to see how they'd unfold. One came to fruition (Adrian's position re: Chris), and the other probably will next episode depending on EXACTLY what happens with Ads.
