I've been using Affinity on and off since v1.0. I love how they managed to combine all app into a single package now.
The pages were made in Adobe Express, exported as PDF to Affinity. I used Layout mode to switch between pages, Vector mode to edit the text, and Pixel mode to draw over the images.

i really want to love my touch wacom display but man touch input on mac sucks ass. cant believe windows is better on that front

I always do, in fact I still host my first commissioned models... those are Live2D 2.0 files, they weigh almost nothing compared to today standard

Do people actually watch Live2D showcases? Like the whole thing? I know some people do for learning, but if you are a regular customer looking to comms someone do you still watch them fully? If you do, what do you want to see and how long they should ideally be?

For the glue addicts, there's a new "hardness" property to set glue brush radius similar to deform brush!
Also you can set weight display opacity

Trying to apply one-size-fits-all solutions in Live2D is a bit of a pitfall and will probably hinder you in the long run. What works for one model may not work for another and if you can't adapt then you're probably going to have a bad time.

Live2D 5.3 Beta is now live and they are adding new features that weren't present in alpha test!
- New deform brush modes (fisheye deform made easier)
- Automatically fix warp thats too small for its child objects
- WebM export aka transparent video!

Finally found a reason to use @obsidian.md over Notion... the free-form Canvas note. Perfect for planning my new site. I think I'll move over my Notion notes that doesn't require database here

I got passed down a Live2D project. 6 outfits in 1 model, 16K atlas, 11 PSD files, all parameter IDs are unnamed... I cleaned it all up and the file size is reduced by 90%.
Good optimization practices needs to be talked more, I applaud anyone who can push themselves working like this 😭
