ADHD waiting lists are often just spreadsheets. Literally. No severity rating. No link between Trusts. No shared database.

A 21st century health system run on 1990s admin tools. Patients wait years while the data stays a mess.

8:44 Dad called worried about Mum, 8:45 I called Mum who is fed up because she is having to wait for a nurse then telling me she is ok and busy eating breakfast and ordering food for tomorrow. 8:53 Ring Dad back. Will be interesting when they have to wait for a carer to arrive next week

Many ADHD referrals still don’t use the NHS electronic referral system (eRS).

The system exists but isn’t required. That means missing data, lost referrals, and no clear picture of demand across regions.

Wish more doctors would upskill on ADHD so that many people (like myself) didn't have to spend years on anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds that didn't actually improve things that much, and instead delayed the correct treatment of the issue.

A decade of my life on bad meds was wasted time.

VoiceOver on iOS doesn't have a Welsh voice synthesiser, so Welsh content is announced in English, making it completely inaccessible to Welsh screen reader users. Essentially, Welsh screen reader users who do not speak English will not be able to use any iOS apps. Are there any workarounds?

ADHD referrals are rarely triaged by severity. Everyone just goes into one long queue.

A person in crisis waits the same as someone stable. It’s unsafe and unfair, and it makes early help impossible.

- Buy 3 packs of 5 M&S black socks with patterned soles
- Wear them but always odds (spots with stripes)
- Put them away in a drawer without sorting or matching them
- Throw away any which develop holes or bare patches
- Buy another pack & add them to the beautiful chaos

The ADHD Taskforce promised its final report this summer.

Summer is over. No report. Every delay means more children waiting, adults cut off from treatment, families left managing bureaucracy instead of care.

We can’t wait. So we’ve drafted what’s missing.
