Had it not been tainted by the whole heel turn with the Rock, it may not have been so bad. But those months were kinda terrible cause there was no point to it. The Rock was MIA (thankfully), but that left Cena floundering for purpose.

Kinda wish they had just "unified" and did away with the continental title leaving just the international. The tournament doesn't need an actual title. It needs a trophy. They've made it more convoluted than it needs to be. Just like Okada shouldn't win again. Or its the mjf ring again.

My thought as well. C2 should have never been a title prize, it should have always been a trophy. I think TK tried to "fix it" with the unification, but then never clarified the intention. And now we have nothing (yet) about the title status (unified or otherwise). Hopefully tonight.

I think everyone is confused and they've probably booked into a sort if corner. Unless they drop the continental title and replace it with just a trophy and do something with that unified title. Rename it. Hopefully there's some clarification.

I had hoped that unifying the continental and the international was going to make it so the Continental Classic wasn't for a title, it shouldn't be. It should have been a trophy from the start.

I love the story aspect, and I'm willing to see where a story goes.
