And at this point capitalism has already set us on an irreversible path in terms of climate change so saying that we can "solve" it is not practical. We can still mitigate some effects and work towards generations of repair work etc, but we're already kinda fucked

A massive polling procedure? No that's unreasonable. Do I trust the workers who do these tasks and run these sectors every day to know how it can be improved and to have the drive to make it better ecologically? Yes.
