Twice in two days on lower Fifth (Manhattan), I saw a car and a taxi blow right through a red light without stopping — not while the light is changing but in the middle of the cycle (no one in the crosswalk and no cross traffic on the side street). In 30 years, I don’t recall seeing *that before.
