I am still discovering the rich (vegetarian) foods of the Levant. Absolutely my favourite palette after Indian (Goan) and Italian foods.
Here in my adopted hometown there is now an "ethnic supermarket" opened by Syrians, and it is just amazing.

But in the Randstad you have tokos everywhere (compared to where I lived - Enschede). There you have good quality ingredients!
