As for the restaurant, it's been a while, but I loved Kogel Mogel in the old town - great traditional food, fantastic service, and very reasonable prices (especially coming from UK).

Couple others have mentioned it already, but - if you're not fussed about the weather - Krakow's old town is lovely, lots to do, lots of places to eat, and still not too pricey. Amsterdam was going to be my other recommendation till the last three words :)

They should print out Mamdani's quote about good grammar of civility on their t-shirts at this point.

Yeah, I'm biting my tongue not to say anything more. It deserves to be read in full context.

Aside from everything else being top notch, The Pyramid scene ("change of plans" one) is an incredibly satisfying, absolutely amazing payoff. Bunch of seemingly throwaway bits just clicking together with a satisfying crunch. My single favourite comic book page in a very long time.

I like that one, too, but he wasn't present in the earphone.

At other times, there would be an angry Scotsman, stating "that is unforgivable", taking a short break, then adding "at this level". Again, it's 50/50 whether he'd elaborate what "that" is. You'd need to try & piece it together yourself from the recent events on the table.

As an avid snooker watcher, I can confirm everything you wrote is exactly right, and I'm reasonably certain getting the earpiece wouldn't really impact your goal of remaining confused. Sometimes there would be an elderly gentleman yelling "where's the cue ball going?" manically, without elaborating.

Just to clarify, does that mean you're reviving Immortal X-Men as part of Shadows of Tomorrow?

I'm curious because progress-wise I had very similar experience to yours - did everything there was to do in the first game quite happily (and still did occasional run after), but fell off somewhere in the end game clean up in the 2nd; once I was done experimenting with different builds, basically.

Do you think the narrative could have contributed to losing interest earlier, too? I adore first Hades in no small part because they explained perfectly why you'd keep doing the runs at any point in the story, whereas post-ending in Hades II felt very much bolted on.

Like, seriously, this is such a red flag, it should come with a hammer & sickle in the top left corner. You employ those people, their financial security depends on you, and they still tried pushing back, and clearly only settled on "more or less OK" because the alternative is leaving.

Love to get the "using generative AI for concept art, despite the pushback from the creatives" nice and early from Mr CEO. Saves us all years of hyping it up, only to get disappointed later.

Omega attack depends massively on the weapon. Cast is consitently useful, but you generally don't need to worry about omega cast.

The writing is so good. Most jokes are landing, and the assholes are allowed to be assholes.

Checked with my partner, you can add Poland and Slovakia to the list, too - with this exact cast (until the main guy got replaced, once or twice)

I moved here 11 years ago, I have settled status, I pay my taxes, I don't claim benefits. All this shite - from alleged Labour government - just makes me want to pack up and bugger off elsewhere. Bunch of little englanders, completely lost up their own asses. "Obligatory volunteering" is dystopian.

I enjoyed bits of it. It was really well acted. But I strongly feel that three hour long movies should ideally have three hours worth of story (and a well-placed interval).

An early classic in the "Did this really need to be three hours?" category.

"Pictures Taken Moments Before Disaster"

It was around 5 hour mark for me, in what's meant to be 50+ hour game, but it's branching paths so may not be true for everyone.

Start with Hollow Knight. It is easier in the early bits, and just as excellent.

You get alternatives to diagonal pogo fairly earlish. Game is still hellish hard with them, tho!

I understand that they're not bothered by the fact this is cruel. What I don't understand is why they think it works, given all the evidence to the contrary.
