I fully agree with the basic idea, but I don't think it's a skill issue. Getting good at something requires time spent doing it poorly, which is uncomfortable. Many people quickly trade their own development to avoid discomfort in my experience.

While I have asked this in interviews, putting this on an application is wild. The point is supposed to be to observe the person working through an abstract problem with no real answer to learn about their thought process. It doesn't work when not in person.

I think I have only DNFed 3. One had a writing style and characters I couldn't stand. One was insanely long and pointless (I made it over 700 pages before stopping). The last one I just really didn't like the style. None will be named because others probably love them.

Sometimes I will do it on purpose. I don't want a great game to end. Othertimes though it's just a Bethesda game and the main quest is the least interesting part. 😃
