my c64 mini!

Plug it in, arc stops working, disconnect and it all magically works again.

First post but worthy given the time I’ve spent trying to figure this out on-and-off, but who’d have thought to get hdmi arc working on my denon amp I’d have to disconnect a device plugged into one of the hdmi inputs on the amp itself
