Sorry that was supposed to be 1966 not ‘76. I’ve not only been around them I am one, born in 1951.

Nah I don't think that's quite right. Boomer birth years are '46-'64 so even the earliest boomers were just 20 years old in 1976. I think if they love the 60's it's because they've idealized their childhoods, adolescence. They weren't really functional, independent adults until the mid-late 70's.

Which could mean they lived their childhood in the magical time they wish to return to...

This is what's so frustrating about legacy media. Sure there was a 3 hr cabinet meeting but Trump slept/struggled to stay awake through at least half of it. He fell asleep during an 'important' announcement in the Oval. Fell asleep over his lunch last week. Why wasn't Bessent asked to address that?

Does that make his snideness, condescendion and deep dishonesty acceptable? jeez

Agreed to the max. I'm a 74 year old grandmother and when I see those clips I want to throw things AT him.

Arrogant prick.

Wondering about whole in/out of network thing. So to shop for lowest price you have to shop both in and out of your network, then do the math: cost in-network - am't ins would pay=co-pay (your cost) vs cost out-of-network which you'd have to pay @ 100%. Sounds like a full time job. Oh, and stupid.

I'd extend 'liking Trump' all the way through (and beyond) enabling him. That includes every journo on that plane who didn't miss a beat when he attacked the Bloomburg reporter.

She seems to see the writing on the wall re how the majority of Americans are leaning in their opinions of R's v D's. But the proof is in the pudding and we'll see how she votes in the House as various bills come up...

Can someone remind of the name of the nodding bobblehead to his right? It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't quite remember it...

Wife: He took away my access to our bank acc'ts, gives me a bit of money once in a while. He's constantly going nose to nose with me, yelling at me to stop it. I'm scared of the abuse. I need to leave for my safety

Tom Nichols: You're not a victim of abuse (yet) because he's never ACTUALLY hurt you
