My thoughts exactly.

This episode was a tough listen for me, a teacher of immigrants. I think it’s great that we can find common ground, but the fact is these people continue to vote in those who seek to destroy public education mostly because they fear immigrants more than they love public education.

Apparently, democracies can work when the people charged with protecting it do their f’in job.
