2) The adverse effects of observing someone experiencing treatment side effects from one treatment can generalise to OTHER treatments (e.g., from one type of cognitive enhancer to another).

Importantly, this may depend on the side effect profile.

TWO new publications from PhD Candidate Cosette Saunders!What did she find?

1) Viewing someone having a positive treatment experience (i.e., no adverse side effects) can reduce both [instructed] and [instructed + socially-induced] nocebo effects.
