exactly how i feel about this patch, literally have never locked in for a previous nation’s quest line until now

bel is my friends oc who is a night cavalry, and is his oc who goes through the dlc

he has a whole storyline with his elden ring ocs and base game is essentially the lore of another oc of his, lorelei, who is bel’s sister and a tree sentinel

i think she looks up to him in a sense, the fact that an albinauric can continue despite losing their legs and also be a close friend to one of the demi gods?? (who generally don’t have good opinions on albinaurics)

i think she likes him a lot

basically i imagine that as mona’s story progresses and you get more and more of her spells she kinda has a more floral aesthetic to her spells and kit, smth smth every rose…. smth smth thorns… smth smth blossoming into something else… smth smth flowers grow amongst the weeds

for example, i noticed most incantations have a sorcery counterpart; if you summon her for romina, you get a unique item drop (a single remaining butterfly) you give to mona and after some time passes she will tell you what she’s learned from it and both you and her get the spell

anyway she’s actually rather careful to not overuse the sorceries; in her other hand she wields a rapier which i think inflicts bleed, she may as well be a bleed build

her quest line would also reward you some neat shit i think, she has a bunch of sorceries behind it

i know that them potentially seeing her silver blood during casting is likely a plot hole and a half to them not find out she was an abinauric but shhhhhhhhhhhh, perhaps they were just accusations that she couldn’t fully back off???

she would essentially have a thorn sorcery build, and that was what had her exiled from the academy and taken to the realm of shadow under rellana’s watchful eye as some sort of punishment for her crime

whenever i tell someone i have dyspraxia i always have to explain what it is, which isn’t something i mind

honestly it’s just that she was known for being a frail girl, who really wouldn’t hurt a fly and i think the shock comes from the fact that aurora COULD NOT have made it that far without at least SOME blood on her hands
