Depends where in downtown, there’s a few little hot spots of activity, but you have to know where they are. It is getting better now, pre covid 85% of the downtown core was empty by 7pm, now it’s more like 70% by 9pm.

Very true, I had an apartment on front and James st, nice and quick to get home. In Van it was in Yaletown, nice and easy. Here in Calgary, 20-30 minute drive.
