With the weather being so grim, wet and cold I have been at the sewing table getting creative! A summer coat. Mandarin collar , side splits and a contrasting lining. My least fave bit coming up… hems!

My happy place, especially with sun on my face. Ornamental grasses chopped back. Potted Roses planted. Compost heap pulled over, well rotted stuff spread on the raised veg bed. ❤️

As Atlantic storms race across Portugal I light a fire for cheer and get the knitting out. Pets on the sofa, soft yarn and needles clacking calms my centre that lashing rain has disturbed
