Great pubs, brilliant food, fantastic people, lovely architecture, a river, museums...amazing city. Let down by snp and some bits are looking quite shabby and lots of empty shops but still so much heart and lovely stuff. Also beautiful parks.

Absolutely. I have to hope that Labour plan is just to quietly align more and more with Europe without being to explicit to avoid headlines. Maybe in a couple of years things will be 'oh, look...better!' but I'm not holding my breath. A swing all the way to the right feels likely.

Labour are washed already, unfortunately. They've failed in so many regards, not least of which is controlling the narrative and media message. They're cooked. One term and out, and it's super depressing.
