Congratulations to Dr. Reid Perkins, who successfully defended his dissertation today. He studied terrestrial analogue sites in Iceland and Nunavut to understand our planetary neighbours.

My daughter also traveled everywhere with me, but I couldn’t have done it without the help of my very supportive husband! Now age 12, she wants to be a pilot!

I rewatched the whole series last year, and I don’t think we knew Skinner’s middle name beyond the initial (which was always prominently displayed on his desk).

Also, if anyone has a link to that deleted scene in the car, I’d love to see it!

Love this thread! I have two CR boxes in my house, and one in my workplace. They work really well! (See old and new filter for comparison.)

I’m participating in #xfiles25days today. For my favorite Scully scene, I pick Ghouli. Seeing Scully speak to her “dead” son kicked me right in the gut. There are few people who understand the pain that comes from losing a child. To see my childhood hero speak what I have felt took my breath away.

I also had a cat named Diego! He sadly never got to ride a bus in Reykjavik.

Attending the NASA Dragonfly meeting at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab this week. Got to see a new half-scale model of the Lander. My colleagues in engineering are doing amazing work! So thankful to be a part of this team. dragonfly.jhuapl.edu/index.php
