Some farmers seem to claim that apex predators need control to protect farmland birds. This is a painful distortion of reality.

Were it true, farmland bird numbers would be growing exponentially in badger cull areas? No.

Habitat restoration must come first, esp. hedgerows + restrict pesticide use.

Hard to believe nearly ten years ago I stood in Neude taking photos of people for 30 minutes to highlight the everyday normality of cycling in Utrecht.
