everyone I've talked to keeps saying "if she offered you the PhD you're 100% going" but every time i open the news I see another school rescinding / refusing all PhDs due to funding cuts and rescinded grants and I just keep getting more and more nervous about it all 🌾🧪

got a PhD offer at the end of July (excited!) to start in Jan but my PI told me the cmtt doesn't meet till the first week of Sept but it's going on the 2nd week of Sept and she keeps telling me "the committee hasnt met yet" but I shouldnt worry because Im guaranteed to get it but im still nervous🌾🧪
