Fandral, at the head of an honour guard, led their journey along the Bifrost. He was pleasant enough, though the eyes of the guards roamed to the towering Jotuns with obvious tension. Loki got a few glances as well, but more out of curiosity than anything else. He should have been insulted by this, but if his small size was enough to make the Asgardians more comfortable with him it was probably for the best as this was to be his new home. He was also well aware that the way he was holding fast to Sylvie’s hand and sending frequent glances her way to quell his uncertainty, did not paint any great picture of intimidation. He didn't care though; he wasn’t there to be intimidating and any excuse to be close to Sylvie was excuse enough.

Thor knew he should be wary of such requests from strangers, but he couldn’t help himself. The song still rattled around in his head, relaxing out every suspicious thought. Some part of him knew that if Loki were to sing that song again he would do anything he asked; even toss Mjolnir into the depth of the ocean to rest forever in the darkness unseen. However, Loki was not singing now, so he wouldn’t agree to that (were Loki to ask such a thing). But Loki was quite beautiful and Thor didn’t have any objection to kissing him. He bent down on the end of the dock, so close to the edge he could easily have been pulled in. He half expected as much.
