#25 is one of Minnesota's two native irises. I started with two plants several years ago but they've really taken off this year — more than 30 flowers and buds! (And more buds appear every day.)

2 blue-purple flowers with large sepals that droop down. The flower on the left has a sepal facing the camera, and the flower on the right has sepals pointing to the right and left. Each sepal fades to white at the top, with a yellow spot. The petals are smaller and are pointing mostly upright between the sepals. Overhead view of 1 flower. 3 sepals are arranged symmetrically with long, wide connections to the center. 3 smaller, rounded petals are symmetrically offset between the sepals.
