every single time you even touch Anything in your boxes, it has to "save a lot of data". i think starting in HGSS they figured out more efficient ways to handle the data but going back to DPPt is sooo... [rubs forehead]

i've been REALLY in the mood to play a pokemon game but i have played gens 1-3 to death already and i played through soulsilver last year. kind of fell off my replay of bw (It's Fine I Guess) & i don't have easy access to anything past that. dare i revisit dppt for the first time in Too Many Years.

i love items but i'm also stubborn about clutter. it makes me deeply anxious. unorganized stuff makes my brain itch like crazy and messes feel like claws digging into my skin. and i *hate* it when people make overfamiliar jokes to me about messes because i'm neurodivergent or w/e. You Don't Know Me.

rounding up old, broken-or-barely functional electronics for recycling tomorrow. i need the space... U_U i've accumulated too much crap after thinking "well, i don't want to get rid of that yet, i could use it for [reason]..." and then Not Doing That. i just need this stuff to be outta my life

anyway i realized that being unable to take portraits would probably limit my career options. so i crawled back to drawing... as if that had more options somehow. listen, i was only 19, i was just trying to figure out *anything* lmfao

i had a crisis in college over my art and almost pursued photography as my "career" instead. however... i could not stomach taking portraits. i have a hard time with making eye contact, and that magnified my anxiety to an extreme level. i had hysterical sobbing fits trying to get myself to do it lol

i am slowly reawakening my photographer brain, after it was dormant for so many years... it's been a lot of fun taking pics while i'm out and about, thinking about photo compositions and such

step 1 has been accomplished: i picked up a cheap used business PC! that'll power my home storage. however i still need to buy hard drives. i'm keeping an eye out for good deals, but it's still gonna cost me!! whoof!!!

it's October now, which is an important month to me. not just because of Halloween and cooler weather and changing leaves, but it is also the month of my gender awakening and my wedding anniversary. wow!
