I’ll give it a go. I’ve done some tartan like patterns on the housecarls, I’m thinking of amalgam of celtic checker patterns and tartans.

I had similar experience a decade ago when managers would come to us going on about how we should implement blockchain into our data systems. Explaining that it had zero utility in our systems usually caused their eyes to glaze over.

Sad about the Humbrol. I still have some, but they are a bit gunky. However, the Belconnen Eckersley's art store actually sells Humbrol enamels! It has a fair bit of Train stuff, which is useful for 15mm terrain.
