Apparently no one reads either

I use USians a lot when referring to people from the US specifically and no one's ever given me shit for it. It irritates me that they can use a whole continent's name as theirs but maybe as a whole instead of using "American" we can use "Turtle Islanders"

This also applies to art. Maybe I can draw and write and maybe I won't see success, but if I love doing it maybe that's enough

I've been thinking a lot about stuff like this. Ruminating on the phrase "the job won't love you back" and thinking, you know, there isn't much that is capable of loving back unconditionally, so maybe the point of life is to give love away

Unfortunately cats can't split on a mortgage, unless I become a lot more interested in jerking off Instagram algorithms

I need to spend more time writing and drawing and making games for fun but it's so easy to sell my time because I honestly love my work. I'm happy

Collect cash until you figure out where to sink some more costs

That was the post-9/11 era so lots of big bad guys and good guys fighting for good with alarming terrorism sprinkled in (I think I only saw the very beginning but I imagine that tip toward fascism of the time is probably palpable in that show.)
