"So a few months ago, the dev team at Sword Isles Studios were invited to speak at a creative and art scene event in Malaybalay, Bukidnon during Kaamulan Festival. We put Gubat Banwa's Quickstart+ on sale to raise funds, and were fortunate enough to meet our goals. I wanted to do a little something as a thank you to the community for the trust and support we’ve been given, and wrote a little travelogue detailing our trip.

Fun(?) Fact DYK that one of the biggest inspirations for the mechanical design of Mangangayaw is our Nickelstick Balintawak GM, GM Nick and his brother, GM Verano

So think Balintawak with some Kuntao-like influences but especially GM Verano's low stance sea legs that he adapted from working at sea
